Sour Patch Kids - Sour Hollows - Roblox

I designed the obstacle (OBBY) level for the Sour Patch Kids: Sour Hollows video game released on Roblox. Starting off with sketches, I established a theme and style. I decided to go for an underground cave atmosphere because we had the player go to a cemetery to unlock the obby. We then added a crypt to infer the player went through the crypt to the obby.

Planning some of the environmental models like the overhangs that give depth and provide a real place for obstacles to drop from.

Getting more specific with the ideas for the obstacles. The idea to use the pumpkin vines to represent the "infection" and reach of the pumpkin began coming in to play.

While constraints led us to scrap the wall climb obstacles, we ended up using the "Sour Sea" and it was the first obstacles because of the striking view and obvious gameplay to overcome.
